The Together Initiative

This project differs from my other design work in that it focuses less on visual output and more on social impact and experience design. Our challenge was to develop a meaningful solution to reduce cultural discrimination within a college environment.

Rather than creating a traditional app or art piece, our team designed a comprehensive program composed of multiple events and initiatives. We conducted in-depth student interviews and gathered feedback to better understand the real challenges students face. This research informed every aspect of the experience, allowing us to build a program that intentionally fosters connection, understanding, and inclusion among students from diverse backgrounds.

The result is The Together Initiative: a proposed organization for universities and institutions that promotes cultural awareness and unity through collaborative, team-building, and reflective activities. The program creates space for honest dialogue and shared experience, encouraging students to confront bias and build genuine community.
